Keystone Heights has a City Council form of government, represented by a mayor and four council members, all elected at large who serve two year terms. Those elected council members are assigned areas of responsibility by the mayor and act as Department Heads for the assigned area such as Public Safety, Public Works, Recreation, Finance, Waste Management, Personnel, Cemetery, Code Enforcement and Environmental.

Council Members: Bruce Harvin, Vice-Mayor - Lyndell Hale - Don Johnson - Tony Brown
The City of Keystone Heights also has two Officers who hold the following duties:
The City Clerk who is responsible for all administrative and staff duties.
The Chief of Operations who is responsible for the City's Public Works, Streets, Environmental and Code Enforcement
The City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at 6:30pm in the City Hall Building located at 555 S. Lawrence Blvd, Keystone Heights, FL.
